Recharge is a free of charge service line that addresses to Nonprofit Organizations which have been operating for at least 5 years and are facing a vital need to adjust rapidly and effectively to a constantly changing environment. Through a business performance consulting service, the NPOs which will be included in this service line, will gain the opportunity to improve and upgrade their operation. In addition, these Nonprofit Organizations will enhance their capacity to apply structured solutions with a direct effect on their strategic positioning and their day to day operations.

HIGGS team

HIGGS team consists of specialists such as:

• Project Manager
• Financial Consultant
• Legal Advisor
• Media Consultant
• Accountant

All members of the HIGGS team carry a rich experience and are acquainted with the Greek NPO ecosystem. HIGGS team aims in fully understanding the operational framework and the Nonprofit Organizations’ field of activity and to offer support through providing recommendations for improvement.

If needed, HIGGS team can be enriched with additional professionals based on the individual requirements of each NPO, thus offering a completely tailor-made approach to each case.

Selection Process for Recharge

Interested Nonprofit Organizations are required to fill in the respective Application Form. A meeting will follow among the NPO representatives, HIGGS Director and the Recharge program Project Manager. During the meeting, the program, the eligibility criteria and the work plan will be presented.

  2. 2Meeting between Applicant and HIGGS Team (presentation of the services to be provided & eligibility requirements).
  3. 3Decision for the NPO’s inclusion in the Recharge service.

Action Plan

  • Appointment of Steering Committee members that will represent the NPO.
  • Data collection – monitoring NPO’s current situation.
  • Review of collected data – cooperation with the Steering Committee Members.

      2. brief SWOT analysis.
    2. B. Performance Improvement suggestions regarding operational, managerial, financial, legal, marketing, brand name, human resources and services provision issues. Estimated level of performance (short, mid and long term) of the organization after implementing proposed actions.
    3. C. Identification of skills gaps and educational solutions.
  • Presentation and discussion.
  • Support from the project team (4 months period at least) for the implementation of the Business Performance Strategy RoadMap.
