Training seminar by Caritas Hellas at HIGGS

May 23 & 25 & 26, 2017 – Caritas Hellas held a training seminar under the ELBa program at HIGGS. The ELBa (Emergenza Lavoro nei Balcani) project is an inter-Balkan program for the social economy and entrepreneurship of the Caritas network. The project partners are the local Caritas organizations from 8 Southeast European countries represented by the Caritas Albanian, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, FYROM, Montenegro and Serbia. This is the second phase of the project which has the following purposes:

1. To increase the knowledge about the social economy in Southeast Europe.
2. To support the development of Social Enterprises in Southeastern Europe.
3. To develop an appropriate ecosystem for the social economy, encouraging communities in Southeast Europe.
4. To put pressure on local institutions to adopt appropriate laws concerning social economy.
