Credit Institutions and Social Offer in Greece

HIGGS conducts a series of small surveys on issues that concern the NPOs’ ( Nonprofit Organizations) ecosystem operating in Greece.

One of these issues is whether the various programs implemented by banks can effectively support Greek Nonprofit Organizations. More specifically our first survey presents the ways in which Greek banks support NPOs in the context of their corporate social responsibility.

Some ways of enhancing and supporting NPOs work are the following:

  • The ability to submit requests for donations to the four major credit institutions in Greece.
  • The ability to use e-banking services in order to make donations to charitable organizations.
  • Credit card programs such as Alpha Bank’s “Bonus in Love” and Visa Solidarity Project by Visa Europe and Greek credit institutions.

Read the survey here.

Unfortunately the survey is not available in English. Should you need any further information, please contact us at [email protected].
